These cover accommodation, meals, laundry, weekend trips, stationery and all tuition costs, but exclude entry fees for public examinations such as GCSE, AS and A-Levels.They also cover Personal Accident Insurance: Please click on the link to view the policy.

Initial Charges and Deposits

Acceptance Deposits:        £350 (Day Pupil/Weekly Boarder)    

                                             £500 (Forces/EU Boarder)   

                                             A full terms fees (Non EU Boarder)

A deposit becomes payable when a definite place is accepted or if you wish to reserve a place for your child.

This deposit is £350 for a day pupil or weekly boarder, £500 for a EU Boarder or Forces living within the EU and a full term's fees for a boarder living outside the EU.

The deposit will be refunded at the end of a pupil's time at the School in accordance with the School Terms & Conditions,or immediately should the pupil fail to meet the entry requirements.The deposit may be offered as a donation towards our bursary fund.

Other Costs

The above fees include all accommodation, meal and laundry costs, but exclude:

  • Medical costs not covered by the National Health Service.
  • Transport, such as the cost of trips to the airport at the start and end of each term
  • Entrance fees for public examinations such as GCSE, AS and A-Levels

Optional Costs

Instrumental Music Tuition:  There are normally ten lessons per term at a cost of £16.50 per 1/2 hour lesson..  Parents are asked to make payments directly to the relevant music teacher.

Speech and Drama Tuition: There are normally ten lessons per term at a cost of £60 per term.  

Tuition in English as a Foreign Language: For pupils who have been assessed as needing                           support the charge for this is £375 a term.

Awards and Allowances

Sibling Allowances: Where a family has more than one child attending the School, there is a concession of 5% off the fees of the second child and 40% off the third.

Scholarships and Exhibitions are available, based on academic examinations, or for pupils who show outstanding ability in music or sport.
