Longridge Towers Junior Department Mini Cross Country Results

For the fifth year, Longridge Towers Junior Department hosted an invitational mini cross country in the acres of woodland and fields. Over 200 children from eight schools were involved: Mowden Hall, Rock Hall, St Mary's, Berwick, St Mary's, Melrose, Scremerston First School, Ford, Loretto and Longridge Towers. The event is organised by Mrs Angela Young with an aim to get as many children as possible, working on their fitness, having fun, running out in the fresh air.
The afternoon began with a mass warm up taken by Mrs Young;J6 acted as fit ‘hares' and J5 were extremely competent marshalls.
